I have a disquieting desire to defy everything that comes under the “you are supposed to do” category, to not follow the rule book and instead write one that doesn’t have any, anything that dictates your life and asks you to remain within the margins as if you weren’t already taught enough of that all your childhood and years of adolescence brainwashed into believing things that are as shaky and groundless as the society itself . Nothing should empower you more than your constant action , to revolt against “the norm”, “the standardised” , but mind you , every time you are empowered, the path gets trickier , it gets nastier . Because there is not one but a thousand battles that are yet to be fought.

You must dare against the ordeals , not the ones that the society has long been setting up against everyone’s path , but the fear it instills inside you every time you go beyond the lines which according to the society is the greatest of threats to its existence , it fears nothing more than the change, it fears that someone , a little girl or a boy might just find the grotesque that hides behind the plastered picture of the utopia , it fears that the little fellow might discover the flakes of paint and canvas that has been eaten up by the moths , which hangs on deceiving everyone else of its strength , its prowess, that the little fellow might steal the spotlight and uncover the ugly spots and make the otherwise solid structure that was built to tame the many crumble into dust .
